Kampii Chapel of Silence, the little wooden costruction is a extraordinary place for silence and peace, where faithful (but also not religious people) can to pray or just relax.
Horizontal wood laths create a tactile shell of the last project in Helsinki by Finland studio K2S Architects.

The building is located nearest Kamppi metro station, in the centre of a big place and create a good context with the nearest context.
The concrete main-structure is completely covered with wood both internally and externally.

The interior is warm and enclosed from the surronding urban life and the only way to bring light inside the chapel is through skylights.
