01: Zaha Hadid's Home

This year edition of Salone del Mobile 2014 will feature a special exhibition titled “Where Architects Live”, presenting a series of documents (images, video, audio) about the home of eight today’s most influential architects:  Shigeru Ban, Mario Bellini, David Chipperfield, Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas, Zaha Hadid, Marcio Kogan, Daniel Libeskind and Bijoy Jain of Studio Mumbai.

Curator Francesca Molteni visited their houses, interviewing them and realizing that their private spaces are actually very tidy and neat and not as we could expect from a creative space.

The aim of this project is not just that of satisfying curiosity but to show how the private dimension reflects or interferes with the public aspect of the architectural work.

The photographs below are part of the exhibition materials, produced with the help of scenographer Davide Pizzigoni.
