Barbican’s Rain Room in London

‘Rain Room’ premiered at The Curve, Barbican on 4th October 2012 and has since created a storm of visitors and commentators around the web.

Designed by Random International, it is their largest and most ambitious installation yet, a 100 square meter field of falling water for visitors to walk through and experience how it might feel to control the rain. It uses 2,500 litres of water, falling at 1,000 litres per minute.

So how do visitors not get wet? Oliver Wainwright, for The Guardian gives us demonstration.
