dESIGNoBJECT originates in 1991 by a joint effort of a group of young designers directed by Giorgio Marchetto. Its production, strictly made in Italy, is inspired by a minimalist design concept, with its essential yet rigorous features, and recalls objects stemming from the Nordic area.

Upon meeting an increasing commercial success, in 1995 dESIGNoBJECT extends its product supply, and introduces in the Italian market an accurate selection of creations from outstanding European firms, such as Raumgestalt, Essey, Axelweinbrecht, Take2, Duo Design and PO: .

Starting on 2011, dESIGNoBJECT cooperates with Paolo Fontana/Signaletic and develops its new business outlook together with some of its products.
